With Nats not being around for over a month, I imagine most of you were wondering, "what are we going to do about the World Series?" Well, I have an answer for you.
I found a guy who had an abandoned league. He gave me LM powers, I changed it to a 12-teamer, and H2H each cat. Once we have our playoff teams locked, I will invite all playoff owners to join, and you guys will upload your rosters.

So what I'm going to do is once we officially know the playoff teams, I'll invite all those owners. The first round will be played in the AL and NL leagues that we're currently in. The second round will be played in the playoff league that I have acquired. This way, there isn't such a rush to upload rosters ASAP or else you may play a team without players.

Link: games.espn.go.com/flb/leaguesetup/settings?view=teaminfo&edit=true&leagueId=238689Current team names are the teams who would make the playoffs if the season ended today. Obviously I will do any necessary editing to this. My team is uploaded, better make the playoffs now, lol. Like I said, once your team makes it, round 1 will be in the current leagues, so essentially you have 1 week to upload your team or else I will (Nationals and anyone else). I will not edit lineups daily. If a guy on the Nationals goes on the DL and he's in the lineup, that's where he stays. All matchups past round 1 will be TWO WEEKS LONG which I'm aware is a minor change but it has to be this way given the scheduling options. Any questions, PM me.

Another clarification: Round 1 - 1 week Round 2 - 1 week Round 3 - 2 weeks Round 4 - 2 weeks
This is the way the schedule breaks down. The only other option would be to have all matchups be one week, but both teams will be dealing with this extra week. I understand Round 4 Week 2 may be a week with some players sitting out for their playoffs, but once again, both teams will be dealing with it.

After reading over what the plan was with Nats, doing what he planned to do is possible which I didn't realize until now. So we'll run playoffs in the AL and NL leagues and then once we get down to the final 4 teams, those rosters will be imported into the World Series league and that league will be used ONLY for the 2 week World Series.

So it looks like the current AL and NL leagues already set up to manage six playoff teams each for rounds 1-3. Those matchup should be automatic. They are one week each though so round 3 wouldn't be longer unless we changed the settings or ran it in the WS league.

Correct. Round 3 will be 1 week as the rules state. The World Series will be played in the 3rd league and that will be the only 2 week matchup. I figure we should stick to the rules for fairness.
